Okay, granted this animal is slightly larger than the ones we generally deal with here, it seemed fitting since fleas do carry bacteria. Keep vacuuming. According to Ohio State University vacuuming gets rid of fleas, specifially cat fleas (Ctenocephalides felis) in all their stages. (whew! That’s a relief.)
